DANIEL Bible Studies

The book of Daniel is found in the "writings" section of the Jewish Bible because Daniel was considered an international statesman who was given a prophetic gift by God, rather than someone fulfilling the office of a prophet per se. He writes during the time of the Babylonian captivity and his writings reveal three clear prophetic messages - the return of the Jews from exile, the destruction of the Babylonians who had taken the Jews captive and the coming of the Messiah after 70 prophetic weeks. All of these events happened as foretold. These studies are designed to highlight the clear main theme underpinning the messages in the Book of Daniel and that is - God is ultimately in charge in our personal lives as well as in the rise and fall of nations. Nothing happens without His express will and purpose being involved and that all history is simply an unfolding of God's plan which He designed from before the world began.
