Salvation
As Christians we have been called during this physical life to be disciples of Jesus Christ and to be representatives of Him acting and living as shining lights in a darkened world. However we still have human nature and we still sin. That causes us distress because we sometimes find it difficult to reconcile with our calling to represent the righteousness of Jesus Christ who was sinless. The answer is that God has already made a way for us to be clean through His shed blood and our duty and responsibility is to faithfully accept that sacrifice that has been made on our behalf. As a result we can have full assurance of the salvation that God has promised. We should know that Christ will never leave or forsake us and the calling to salvation that we received by predestination from before the foundation of the world stands no matter what. God has not called us to failure but success through His Son into whose safe keeping we have been placed.
