Sowing and Reaping
We live in an industrial advanced world where most people in our Western society are removed from having direct connections with the land. Yet for the entire times span of when the Bible was written most people both lived and worked in an agrarian society. As such many of the concepts, metaphors, parables. prophecies and even festival Days revolved around the yearly routines of sowing, tending to the crop and harvest. This series of studies taps into that connection and uses the language and analogy of the farmer on the land to enhance the spiritual meaning of what we are intended to understand from the Biblical references.
